Profile

Arielle Paisley is an associate attorney in the firm’s Civil Litigation Practice Group. Her practice encompasses a diverse range of issues from estates to personal injury and commercial disputes. As part of her practice she helps individuals and local and regional businesses navigate legal issues both in and out of the courtroom. She strives for excellence in all of her work, from litigation to creative dispute resolution. 

After growing up at the beach, in North Carolina, Arielle moved here for law school and, while she originally did not plan to stay, she has not been able to leave Lynchburg’s beautiful mountain setting and wonderful people! She enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. 

Experience

Melanie obtained her juris doctor from Liberty University School of Law in May 2024.

Following passage of the Virginia bar exam in October 2024, Arielle has began her career as an Associate Attorney here with us at PLDR Law. 

Honors & Affiliations

Arielle has received several honors from her time in law school at Liberty University School of Law. Which includes Liberty University Law Review – Articles & Book Reviews Editor, Liberty University Law Review – 3L Commitment to the Mission Award, Liberty University Moot Court Board – Competing Member.

Along with that she has received the CALI Award for Excellence: Appellate Advocacy, Business Associations, Lawyering Skills II, and Torts II, 2023. She has also recieved the William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament – Third Best Oralist, 2023 Billings, Exum, & Frye National Moot Court Competition – Second Place, 2023 Billings, Exum, & Frye National Moot Court Competition – Best Petitioner Brief. Furthermore, she is affiliated with the Virginia Bar Association, Lynchburg Bar Association, and Zach Sack Christmas Ministry – Co-Founder.
