Media Law

At PLDR, we assist media clients with a variety of legal issues. We represent television stations seeking to obtain access into courtrooms for their video cameras. We also assist with Freedom of Information Act issues, subpoenas to reporters, defamation claims and other media-related issues. Our representation of the Virginia Association of Broadcasters has involved court appearances in many courts throughout Virginia, including trial and appellate courts. We have provided a variety of services to newspapers, radio and television stations.
