Profile
Jason has been in the Lynchburg area since 2003 where he came from the Hampton Roads area. After law school, Jason started his practice at the Lynchburg Public Defenders Office where he tirelessly represented clients in various misdemeanor and felony criminal matters.
In time, he transitioned his practice to being a prosecutor in the Appomattox and Campbell County Commonwealth’s Attorney offices. Ultimately, he was promoted to the Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for Campbell County, where he regularly litigated complex cases.
Jason met his wife in college, they have two beautiful children and a Labrador named Judge. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey, practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu and coaching youth hockey.
Experience
- Thousands of court appearances and hundreds of trials in front of Judges and he has taken numerous jury trials successfully to verdict.
- Argued cases from speeding/reckless driving tickets to white collar crimes such as embezzlement and larcenies and serious felonies like rape, burglary, robbery, murder and distribution of narcotics.
