The Uncontested Divorce.

 

In a simple uncontested divorce, the parties may have very little, if any, property and debt to divide, no support issues and no children. In a more complex case, the parties may need the help of a mediator or a Collaborative Team to reach resolution on some of the issues upon which they cannot agree. The more issues the parties can reach agreement upon, the less work for the mediator or Collaborative Team, and the less costly the divorce.

An uncontested divorce gives the parties the freedom to make their own decisions about property and debt division, support and custody rather than leaving these important decisions to the discretion of a judge.
