The role.

Jenny supports PLDR's Family Law and Estate Planning practices. On the Family Law side, she helps guide clients through the emotional journey of divorce, custody, visitation, and support matters. On the Estate Planning side, she's often a client's first contact — a source of information and orientation before they meet with an attorney.

Her clients are individuals and couples — sometimes in the hardest moments of their lives. Her approach is empathetic, active listening. She focuses on truly understanding what they are going through without judgment, and meeting them where they are emotionally and practically.

Jenny came to PLDR after more than a decade at Phillips, Morrison & Ferrell (2012–2023), and earlier service with the Lynchburg Police Department (2005–2012).

She earned her Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and is returning to school at William & Mary, where she is beginning a dual master's program — an M.B.A. and a Master of Science in Finance — in fall 2026. She is also a member of NALA Leadership Exploration and Development (2025–Present) and is an e-certified notary.

An Amherst County native, Jenny spends her time outside the firm with her family and dogs.
