Experience
Mark came to PLDR Law from a judicial clerkship in southwest Virginia, bringing a deep grounding in the practical mechanics of how courts work.
Attorney. Mark splits his practice between business transactions, construction work, and assisting creditors with foreclosures.
Mark served as Law Clerk for Tazewell County Circuit Court under Judge Hurley and Judge Patterson — gaining a working understanding of how civil litigation moves through the Virginia court system.
Mark grew up working on a farm. The long, labor-intensive days taught him a strong work ethic. The agricultural community taught him the value of collaboration — success comes from working with others, not doing everything alone — along with the industry's principles of trust, integrity, and reputation. He assists clients with commercial real estate transactions, business formations, business transitions, mergers, and acquisitions — plus contract drafting and negotiation for construction contracts, commercial leases, and commercial real estate purchase agreements. He also assists creditors with foreclosures.
